Suddenly two days ago, emails every half hour from Carwings that say "status updated". Anyone else experience this? I haven't edited my notification settings either online or in my Leaf. Any thoughts?

Iirc, there was an iphone app awhile back that would update status every 30 minutes. Have you ever installed any LEAF apps other than the Nissan one?

Nubo, thanks for the reply. I did have other Leaf apps, but removed them all. Hmmm, let me go back and check.

I was able to stop it by going to my Leaf preferences online & unchecking the Status Update box. Kinda sucks because I'd like it to work "normally" again.

I'll bet one of the other apps has a server that is checking every 30 min. You'll have to get THEM to stop pinging your car. Push comes to shove, you could change your password on the Nissan portal, that should lock them out.

That happened to me, just change your carwings password and the pinging from the ap will stop
