Just wanting to share some discoveries that I have made with my 2019 SL Plus:
I have used this wireless dongle in three cars now and it is still working great, and it works the same in my Leaf as it did with my other cars. It's made by Carlinkit, it has a short USB cable that plugs into the USB port in the vehicle. It takes about 10 seconds or so to connect with your phone and after that CarPlay works like normal, except you can leave your phone in your pocket or purse. These run about 50 bucks or less typically. One caveat is that wireless CarPlay tends to use up the phone battery quicker, so you may need to charge your phone if taking a long trip. Initial setup can be a pain, but there are tutorials available online and once it's set up with your car and phone it's pretty seamless.
