ev project participants eligible for tax credit?

Forgive me if this has been addressed elsewhere but I couldn't find it. I am qualified for the ev project in the bay area and just found out my installation cost over the $1200 will be significiant. Does anybody know if I would qualify for 50% tax credit for the portion I pay out of pocket? Thanks.

Yes we know, and yes you'll get a tax credit. It's not 50% anymore though...

Do you mind sharing what is significant and the reason why? I don't want to discourage anyone from being in the program but I certainly don't want to encourage someone to be in the program if it is going to cost them more than not being in the program.

I believe the amount is now 30% by the way.
