Well, well, Mr. Clarkson.

Freedom of speech is fine, even against American technology, but don't hurt my Dick Van Dyke. Now I know what the F stands for. The ghosts of Lucas.

You had that coming, love your show.

Maybe Elon Musk should publically offer him a Model S that doesn't catch fire and got the highest government crash testing results?
Funny I was thinking the same thing, but he probably doesn't want to risk looking like a publicity whore.

Those ICE vehicles need to be investigated by the government. Perhaps a recall is in order. Can't believe people want to drive around carrying gallons of that explosive stuff!

Actually, no... Apparently it is believed to have been an electrical fire started by an overheating A/C fan motor according to more recent reports... Kind of reminds me of the Fisker...

Probably something to do with that nasty flammable liquid he was carrying around in it.

Lucas--inventor of the first intermittent wiper.

Lucas--inventor of the self-dimming headlamp.

The three-position Lucas switch--DIM, FLICKER and OFF.

The other three switch settings--SMOKE, SMOLDER and IGNITE.

That seems plausible for the origin of the fire, but what went off to cause the eventual mini-explosion/fireball?
