So I had a Prius and went to the leaf.
We had led lights inside before because of added brightness and color.

I got some nice lights now from v-LEDs.com, but any one have some hints to get the light covers off to get access to change the lights.

I suspect prying the cover off, but thought I would ask first before ruining the plastic to get to the bulb. Nthe wife would not be happy about that...

I got some help from the dealer.

They sent a exploded view picture by FAX of all things.. Old School!

The idea to get the light covers for the MAP light off, is there are 4 attachment points per white cover.
Pry the cover off. They are not screwed on.

Closest to the front windshield use a pry tool that slips between the white diffuser and the outside plastic till the clip holding it pops out.
Then move to the next corner and repeat on all 4 corners and the cover comes off.

Replace the bulb.
Snap cover back on when done.

Repeat on other maplight cover.

5 minutes of work.

White light for map lights now.
