Blue Nissan logo on Wheel

The caps on my red leaf wheels sound plastic when I tap them. They are colored wheel rim grey with a blue metallic logo. It feels like you could pop them off with a screw driver, but there isn't a slot to do this. I see no reason to ever take them off anyway.

odd. The circles are complete on my logo. You can see them in the gallery here in a bit more detail. I'm away from the car for the week (vacation) so no more pics to check until next week.

Thanks for that. In enlarging the photo I could see the entire circle. It was the reflection that made it look incomplete.

I'm currently in a 2011 Nissan Quest which has chrome center caps. Perhaps you got center caps destined for a Quest?

SeattleBlueLeaf, in one of your photos I can see the black rear bumper protection strip. Did you install this or did the dealer? If you installed it, was it easy to do? Any hints to make it an easy install?

Thanks.

If it's any help, SBL recently posted this on the Accessories thread:

I purchased and installed the Rear Bumper Protector (http://www.nissanaccessories247.com/product.asp?MCId=21&SCId=&PId=2738&Modelyear=2011). I like it for the price and the install took all of a few minutes.

the bumper protector is simple to install. I put mine flush against the car body. There is a middle mark on the protector that you can line up with something on the back of the car.. can't remember without looking. But you will install and move on to other things in seconds and it will save that bumper from being scratched and ugly. I purchased mine on eBay via the link in the accessories thread.

okay - back to skiing (on ski trip now)
