I bought my 2013 SV in April 2013 so far with 27k and only 10 bars. Can't wait to return my lease in 2 months.

I assume the build date on the car is before 4/'13?
Would be interesting to know.

My used '13 Leaf SV w/build month of May 2013 and 1st in service date (from previous lease) of near the end of 6/2013 is at 30.6K miles and still has all 12 bars. I'm in a hotter part of the SF Bay Area (e.g. NOT a cooler place like city of SF) but my area is probably generally cooler than Irvine. Hx and SOH for me is still hovering between high ~87% and 90%, or so, sometimes 91%.

My 2013 SV lost its 1st bar at 51k miles. I purchased it new in March 2013.

I'm wondering if this might have been caused by the dealer doing a level-3 charge on it while I had it set to 100% (which I don't do often). I had brought it in for a front wheel bearing replacement (under warranty) and lost that 1st bar within a day or two of coming home from the dealer.

What do you think? Coincidence? Does the Leaf slow its charge speed to level-2 between 80% and 100% when connected to a level-3 charger?

I doubt it has anything to do with it.

I just lost my first bar at 42k miles. My leaf had 270+ quick charges on it when I bought it and has hovered between 86 and 84% SOH since I bought it last summer.

Every Level 3 charge I have done (Aeroenvironment, Nissan, others) slows at about 80% and it seems like it's about at Level 2 at that point.

How do I see % SOH?

My 2013 SV lost its first bar a few weeks ago. I would guess I noticed within a few days, as both my wife and I drive it. I will attach a pic of Leafspy from the day I noticed it was down 1 bar.

3/4/16
Ahr 55.78
SOH 85%
Hx 81.54
45,310 mi
289 QC/1347 L1/L2
Inservice 9/2013 IIRC, I purchased used with 37k mi in 8/2015

2013 leaf SV lost my 3rd bars at 28.5k. Car is manufactured 02/13 and leased on 04/30/13. Payout is $17500 and dealer offer $7500 off on lease buyout. anyone interested to buy? Few months ago I leased i3rex already, so I don't need another ev. Or should I buy and sell after received battery replacement?

Another piece of evidence for the 'Canary Battery' Jan-March build 2013 pack...

Mine 2013SV was manufactured in January 2013. I bought it in March 2015, and lost my first bar in October 2015. I checked it again today, just to see where it's at. AHr is down to 48.58, SOH is 74%, and Hx is 68.12%.

I thought the first bar disappeared around 54-54.5 amp hours. 55.78 is the highest 1-bar loser I have seen.

Pretty impressive .The assemblers must have got a raise that day at Smyrna.
30 days ago I was at 60.2 Ah 20.4 kWh ( Bat temp 59 F average) , now low 57's Ah 19.4 kWh ( bat temp 74 F) . seems a fine line between degradation and healthy pack.
After 3 years pretty much the same battery capacity as the average 13 model (manufactured summer 13).
The next EV I own, , Bolt or e-NV200 or whatever WILL have tms, and of course a large battery.
Hopefully I won't need a really long extension cord before that happens. :?
