It's looking good for us leaf owners as smart sell the 17.6KW battery for 3000 pounds.

Come on nissan. Give us a price for the 24kw pack

Reading the article I don't interpret it that same way as you unless I am missing something. 3,120 pounds might get one out of the battery lease but I don't think they will sell you a new and complete battery outright for that price. I hope I am wrong though.

From the article:

The diminutive car brand will also allow buyers to buy the car outright (to exclude a battery lease) from £15,395...
