    Convert non led to LED?

ITs easier just to swap out the Halogen Bulbs for LED bulbs. I did this on my 2013 S a few weeks ago. My headlights were adjusted correctly from the start, no additional scattered beam on the LEDs than on the Halogens. Nice bright lights and I they also have Hi-Beams. $37 off Amazon. best...

DC, MD, VA, WV EV Owners Gather here!

Where are you looking to buy from? Do you mind driving down to Woodbridge? Or Stafford? I know a salesman at Cowles Nissan which sold me my first leaf. And Stafford has Leckner Nissan and they are selling leafs with a great discount. Plus you'll still get the $7500 tax credit as well.

    EVSE options for 2013+ Leafs

I just picked up the L2 16Amp version of the ChargePoint Home. LOVE IT! Coming from my old EcoTality BLINK EVSE. I only had availability to run a 20amp service to my garage, so the 16Amp Chargepoint EVSE is great. Got the Plug-In unit for $380 (new)+ $116 for a used 16Amp J1772 Cable...

Any decent service centers in Northern Virginia? Need TCU replaced

I Leased my First LEAF and bought a Pathfinder from Cowles Nissan in Woodbridge. Recently (last sept) i bought a Frontier from Leckner Nissan in Stafford. Both dealerships are great. Cowles Nissan i feel does more LEAF Sales than Leckner. Both dealerships are also very LEAF friendly. Try...

Haha early adopters...that was back in 2010 and 2011!! All early adopters have been through hose hoops and no longer an issue.... Just busting your chops. LEAF is one of the top selling U.S. Cars still. DCQC will help reduce range anxiety for new owners. I regularly drive from...

Official EV Project / Ecotality / free charger thread

Yes the grants need to be utilized prior to LEAF purchase. I now have a VOLT but didn't know about the AV deal to bundle purchase with car at point of sale...over priced anyways..but it was an option. I was able to take advantage of the EVProject...which is now going down hill with minimal...

AV Quick Charging station software upgrades for 2013 Leaf

any other L3/QC's around? Like a BLINK or EvGO? Try that to make sure its the QC not the port/car. Just a suggestion, but you would kinda think that the AV QC would be already good to go as they have been partnered with NISSAN in branding their ZERO EMISSION unit for quite sometime now...

Official EV Project / Ecotality / free charger thread

Nothing available via EVProject/Ecotality. However the tax credit is still available to claim at the end of the year for your 2013 taxes. So you purchase a unit and install it...youll get a 30% credit. I paid $1100 installation for my BLINK/EV unit last year and got $305 on credit added to my...

Fast(er) Level 1 Charging on 2013 or EVSEUpgrade?

Few places I've seen details outlining the faster charging in all 2013 LEAF's on 110/120V The L2 on the base S was increased from 3.3kWh to 3.6kWh, nice upgrade for the base model.

    2012 Leaf Trade in value

I got 19,500 for my 2012 SL with only 7300miles. It was a lease that i traded in. I sucked up the negative on a hugely discounted VOLT. Sucks, but if you can hold on for a bit longer values will probably increase...slightly. Sad how their values are currently.

    Cheapest Lvl 1 EVSE

I wouldnt be suprised if we start seeing some inexpensively produced 10/12 Amp L1 and 16/20 Amp L2's coming from overseas sources in the near future. As the fad on EV's continues to grow they will see the interest raise and their interest will also raise to make money.
