    Leaf Range in Colder Weather

Are you saying the range you got at 0C or 32F @ 80% charge was 38 miles? Which would mean 47.5miles for 100% charge... That's got to be wrong. How were you driving? Can you give us more details? Or have I miss-read something.

    UK price increase

Just in case anyone is here from the UK - like I am - you need to have a confirmed order for the car (not just a reservation) by the end of 28 Feb to ensure you don't get caught by the new price increase. As of 1 March the Leaf will cost £2000 more. Bringing the price after Government...

    I Want my (fast) DC!

Every UK Nissan LEAF dealer is installing one. Those are our 25 starting locations. I am not sure what Nissan's roll out plan is. These are the fast charge 0-80% in 25 minute chargers. All Leafs in the UK come equipped with the port as standard.

    Leaf Range in Colder Weather

I'm voting idiot: He hadn't used 19 miles of battery power - it had just adjusted the range estimate to his driving style. How can an automotive journalist not understand that? It's like saying, in an ICE car with a mpg meter, that if you drive it hard and fast and the mpg drops from 50 to 30...

Nissan's published Range vs Real life (was EPA)

Correct me if I am wrong, but I always thought that the US had a fairly wide range of weather? I do understand how one person will have only experienced one small range, but this forum has a wider membership and thus varied LEAF experience. Yep. This seems to be on par with what I would expect...

Nissan's published Range vs Real life (was EPA)

Ah. Sorry. But even so, how do they shape up against real world usage? Quick edit mow that I am not on my phone: basically, from what i have read here, these seem very low. 55mph with air con, I would be expecting more than 70 miles. That seems to correlate with what others on his forum are...

Nissan's published Range vs Real life (was EPA)

I was just looking back at the official EPA figures for the Leaf's range and was wondering how it compares to what people are getting in the real world. I wonder if people would like to share their experiences compared to the EPA table below. Some seem a bit low to me (highway and stop-and-go...

Day 32 - thoughts on the LEAF - email to Larry Dominique

I was told that the reason for the light interior was to keep the heat within the cabin. Dark material would suck up the heat, meaning you would have to have the heater on longer and therefore drain the battery more. If that is the case, I would assume they have done tests and it would be a...

    UK Carwings

So Carwings appeared on the UK App store at some point this week and I downloaded it to have a play. Below I present screenshots of each of the screens when using it. I thought this may be of interest to anyone on the waiting list in the UK or those in the US who want to compare and contrast...

    Charging via 13amp

That's really cool. My daily commute is 22 miles total. Every other month or so I will head on a longer trip of 65miles to one of two places. One place is motorway most of the way (although a large portion of this is restricted to 50mph) and the other place is long winding single lane roads...

    Charging via 13amp

Sorry. Just to confirm. I am talking about plugging into a normal wall socket and not using a EVSE at all.

    Charging via 13amp

Hi there, I'm sorry if this has been asked before, I did a search and couldn't find the answer. There is a chance that I will be charging my Leaf through a 13 amp socket - this isn't as bad as it sounds as I am a Brit so we have more power going through our normal domestic sockets. However, I...
