It's actually the Yen price dropping (rr dollar getting stronger). It's a lot cheaper to import these cars now from Japan.

I guess the gas prices are taking a toll on the electric cars. Nissan Fremont just quoted me $24,000 for 2015 Leaf S with QC (before government help). That's insanely low. If SL fully loaded is being quoted at $28,000 (before government help) I'm not surprised at all.
