that might have been me, if it was a black one. I took the EV onto the Bainbridge ferry yesterday and saw a blue leaf waiting in the line on the bainbridge side waiting to go back to Seattle.

One of the first things I notice about the LEAF is the sub-par paint. I've had several black cars over the years, and use very high quality detailing products. My black LEAF had micro-scratches in the clear coat even before I'd had a chance to wash it. I will do my best to keep the paint...

Maybe so. Way back in the old days, when I drove a car that... if you can believe this... ran on gasoline, it was a Mazda 5. Had a similar climate control system. I guess after using that, I don't find the Nissan climate controls to be too much of a hassle. Of course, there's always the...

Can't you do this? I have mine set to outside air, dash, at the second speed. I set it on the drive home from the dealer a couple weeks ago and the only time I've monkeyed with it was to turn on the AC.

The only problem I've had is related to the wireless adapter. Like derkraut, once I hardwired it to my LAN, it's worked without a hitch. Sorry you're having problems. I hope you get them all worked out!

I have to agree with the OP that the functions are pretty primitive. I'm pretty spoiled with Ford's SYNC system, and miss having voice commands for both the USB devices and the bluetooth audio. I do get track information from my Droid over bluetooth, and am really excited about the potential...

Friend of mine got into the car and immediately took a deep breath. "Ahh... new car smell. I love it." I told him I wasn't a big fan. To me, new car smell is dominated by new leather smell. What I got with the Leaf was new plastic smell... not as good. It's not terrible, but I'll be glad...
