I keep the tires at 36psi, any higher and the regen keeps shutting down during breaking because of bumpy roads. So more regeneration gives me better range then the decrease rolling resistance of the tires. They did do the passenger seat airbag pressure sensor flash.
The decreased regeneration...
I brought my 2013 in for its first battery check last month and immediately noticed much reduced regeneration. i reset the miles per KWH, before it was 4.1 now 3.9.
I think it is wrong to reprogram the computer in such a way that it would change the mpg-e data to save the battery. what do you...
first 50 Gids was 5.6 kWh, and the rest were 4kWh; there is more energy down low, about 25 capacity below 50 gids!
also doing this and a few quick charges increased battery health 2.5%, probably just do to battery re calibration but who knows
it is also nice to know how far you can go with a low...
I ran to turtle and then parked at a quick charger and ran the defroster until the battery cut out with four gids left.
Leaf charge 11/21/2014
Charge from 4 gid to 50 gid 5.6 kWh, 5.6 kWh
Charge frm 4 gid to 100 gid 9.8 kWh, 4.2 kWh
Charge from 4 gid to 150 gid 13.5 kWh, 3.7 kWh
Charge from 4...
I'm assuming the co-op is Tri County. Their rates are lower then everyone elses so settle down and you don't have to call up every 6 months and change plans.
In all this was a good experience. So you're confirming what i suspected, if i had turned off the front and rear window defrosters and been gentler on the throttle i could have gone a lot further and could have depleted the last few GIDs. It is useful to know how far u can go before it shuts...
I went out today with the goal of hitting turtle, well a few seconds after turtle the traction battery cut off the drive motor at 4 GIDs. The temperature was about 56 F outside and I had the defroster and rear window defroster on to help deplete the battery. I suppose that is why I had 4 GID's...
I just leased a 2013 S, bought the clipper creek hcs-40 with the 25 foot cable off of the internet as soon as i got home, so i ended up using the emergency cable for a week without issues and was able to get a full charge over night. The thing i liked best about the clipper creek was the 3 year...
I would suspect the the op's car on 120v ran til morning hours and half his charging was at a lower rate, the L2 chargers charge within 3 hours for typical usage which would have all been during peak usage time.
make sure to use your timer! i'm on a co-op and pay the same rate 24x365, but i...
My house plugs were wired with the "push connectors" rather then using the screw terminals. i found this out when i noticed a plug starting to melt that didn't have anything plugged into it, a plug (computer) further down the circuit was pulling about 1200 watts (10 amps) and with a rather...
This is my first post. Last week I leased a 2013 Leaf S with the 6.6Kw charger option, with two miles on the clock, mfg date 11/13. Order a leafDD and a ClipperCreek HCS-40.
I checked my battery stats after trickle charging overnight.
GID 263
S 97.25
C 60.5177
H 92.87
Battery temp 32F
Am I...
