JDapter - Tesla charging for your EV

Very interesting product Tony! I'm on my second Leaf lease and I've managed just fine with the trickle charger that came with the car. The idea of buying a L2 EVSE like a JuiceBox or ClipperCreek is appealing but I'd also have to put a new circuit in and the total expense of that combined with...

    Survey for Asian Indians

I just saw this post. Though it is late, I filled out the survey. I've been very pleased with my Leaf and after leasing one for 3 years, I decided to lease another one. 4+ years of Leaf ownership and (aside from the lost bar issues) I love it!

Buzzing sound when opening and closing doors

Thanks, it definitely could be the dome light. I'll check into that tomorrow.

Buzzing sound when opening and closing doors

Our 2013 Leaf recently started making an electronic buzzing sound when opening or shutting the doors. Has anyone else experienced this?

    2013/2014 Nissan Leaf Lease Information

I'm not sure what the marketing assessment is but I paid $31,900 for the same (but without floor mats) on 12/31. Via truecar.com, I believe your MSRP is $35,520 and Invoice $33,440 so a price of $31,839 is $1601 under invoice.

    NMAC troubles after returning LEAF

I have a copy of the Vehicle Return Receipt showing a Turn In date of 1/1/2014 and a copy of the DMV Vehicle Transfer Form. Mistakes happen and you work to resolve them. The dealership did exactly that (I'm no fan of dealerships btw). The biggest pain has been dealing with NMAC Collections...

    NMAC troubles after returning LEAF

I did #3 and can't recall #4. Will have to see if I have a copy of those. I did not do #5. If I had, this would have surfaced earlier obviously. Yes, it was a true lease return. I picked up my new LEAF from a different dealership the day before. Thanks for providing that link to what...

    NMAC troubles after returning LEAF

Actually, I don't think (but not sure) I received anything from the dealership when I returned the car. Dealership seems to be helpful right now. But not sure what they can do about NMAC. I'll ask for a supervisor when I call next.

    NMAC troubles after returning LEAF

When you return your LEAF at the end of the lease, follow up with the dealership a couple days later to make sure it was 'grounded' properly. I returned my LEAF on 1/1 and thought all was well. Last week, I got a call from NMAC collections asking for money because they showed that I have not...

$1000 Loyalty Program for current Leaf owners

So I negotiated a price and then told them I want to lease. I asked for lease numbers with $0 down. Then I asked for lease numbers with $1000 down. Those checked out and then I told them I want to use the $1000 Loyalty cash. I gave them my VIN, they looked it up, and apply the $1000 Loyalty...

    2013/2014 Nissan Leaf Lease Information

SoCal dealers are starting to deal a bit finally. Yesterday, I was able to get some to offer $1500 below invoice (I am not eligible for VPP pricing which is $1000 below invoice). Today I'm sure you could get even a better deal. I'm planning to lease a new one this morning in the exact...
