Thanks for all the great responses. Since I am parked when I doo this I generally leave it in "ready" mode. TBH I really don't use eco mode too much. My daily commute round trip is only about 20 miles. I really do like the quickness of my Leaf when it is in regular drive mode, very zippy! :D

Anyone know if this is a problem with the Leaf? I know that doing this with a regular gas powered vehicle is not good as it puts a lot of strain on the motor since you must leave the engine running to operate the AC. The weather has been very hot lately (I live in So Cal) and I was waiting for...

I was trying to charge my cell phone....maybe you can't??? I am getting a new "cigarette charger" tomorrow so I will try that. Maybe I was mistaken and the USB cannot be used to recharge devices.

You can, but it takes about 10 days to reach 80% ;)

I just leased my Leaf in November 2012 (3 years/12,000 per year). Not sure what this "replacement offer" is all about. Links? From what I have heard about the battery life I am afraid to ask since I will probably be affected somewhat.

Did the normal thing and checked all the fuses, but all fuses were intact. Anyone ever have this happen before? Should i just bring it into the dealership?
