Fair price for my 2013 Leaf?

The limit is 30% of the selling price, or a maximum of $4,000 if you meet the income limits. Yes, there is a online dealership(s) that will process the tax credit for a price. KeySavvy is one of them. Never used them so I don't know anything about them outside of their web site.

    REALLY!!! $200 gas tax.

Wouldn't it cost more to maintain and build rural roads versus the amount collected in taxes? If so, then they should be paying more.

    Copper wire thieves

Have your state require the scrape buyers mail a check for copper or catalytic converters. Doing that seems to slow things down.

JB stands for Junction Block. It distributes the high voltage power from the traction battery to the various components that use high voltage.

It wouldn't make any sense to run two separate coolant systems. If nothing else, two separate coolant systems wouldn't be able to take advantage of the heat generated by the electronics in the DC to AC converter. In my 2022 leaf, there is only one coolant reservoir. So there is no way I could...

It likely keeps the inverter and motor cool and provides coolant to the cabin heater. There is no recommended coolant change until you hit 15 years or 120,000 miles.

A cabin air filter came in the mail

Drew already told you to go to You Tube and watch one or two videos on how to change the cabin filter in a 2019 Nissan Leaf. The replacement videos for the 2018 or newer Leafs should be the same. One video will suggest you remove the glove compartment box to get to the filter. Another video...

A cabin air filter came in the mail

Well it's the same part number as the Purolator filter I ordered on Amazon. Nissan recommends you change it once a year. The amount of driving and local conditions my allow you to change the filter less often.

Is the CCS to CHADEMO adapter legitimate?

I believe Ford is suppose to start sending out adapters next month. We know they should work, as "Out of Spec Motoring" has tested the preproduction adapter Ford sent them. The preproduction adapter also works with the Rivian. So outside of the short cable issue, you should be able to use most...

    REALLY!!! $200 gas tax.

No annual inspection in Washington state. The emissions inspections where removed years ago.

    Any thoughts on Aptera?

The production bodies are now showing up at the factory. I believe they still are planning to go into production by the end of the year (2024).

    REALLY!!! $200 gas tax.

Our gas tax is currently 77.22 cents a gallon, includes federal tax. It takes roughly 291 gallons of gas to equal the $225 we currently pay for the EV road tax. So if you drive less then 7,275 miles you are paying more then someone driving a 25 mile/gallon car. So the EV tax rewards folks who...

    REALLY!!! $200 gas tax.

Well they can offer an option, verified odometer reading or a set annual fee. I think most folks would choose the fixed annual fee unless you drive very little.

    REALLY!!! $200 gas tax.

I suspect they will increase the EV road tax and eliminate the purchase credit. They will probably start applying a road tax to hybrids too.

    2018 Leaf won't charge

I'm a bit surprised that the timer didn't clear if you disconnected the 12 volt battery.
