so, bottom line - which EVSE, if any?

So far, I have had no trouble using the trickle charger. Unfortunately, I will need to get a 120 outlet installed that is on its own circuit to comfortably continue that I have looked at evseupgrade, but I am leasing. Has anyone done the upgrade, then had trouble when it came time to turn the...

so, bottom line - which EVSE, if any?

I am wading through the posts on EVSE's, and my brain is starting to melt. I drive 15 to 20 miles most days, but sometimes need to go 60 or so. So far only using trickle charger but am considering the EVSE so I have that option. Which one is best for this sort of use?

The official "I got my Leaf" thread

I got my ocean blue leaf on 12/23 as a little early christmas present. I love it. Drove it 73 miles on the freeway and had miles to spare. :D

Is 28 k to buy a good price?

I looked through the paperwork I brought home, and that information did not make it back with me, so unless it is called something else on the lease agreement, I do not know. As I said, I was looking to buy. I know very little about leasing. I should not have signed on without learning more...

    San Fernando valley leafers

That was absolutely my experience of the woodland hills sales dept. I was looking at a used leaf, and I asked them to fax me the Carfax report. They tried to tell me that the could not figure out how to send it. So I bought it myself, and found the car had been rear ended. Honestly, it...

Is 28 k to buy a good price?

So I went out to Fontana, and it turned out that was the price to LEASe, not buy. Did anyone else find the ad a little misleading? I ended up getting talked into a lease, and got a horrible deal. I am really kicking myself this morning. I am not very good at this. I love the car, though...

    San Fernando valley leafers

My main concern is service once I have the car. Fontana would be close enough to buy, but not for regular service. dont know about the QC but I will ask when I am out there

    San Fernando valley leafers

I am in West Hills and am looking at buying a Leaf. My experience with the Woodland Hills Nissan sales department was very unpleasant. Anyone has any experience with the service department? Are they competent? Thanks, and looking forward to joining you all.

Is 28 k to buy a good price?

Nissan in Fontana is listing a 2012 Leaf SL for a little under 28 k. Is this for real? Any bad experiences with this outfit?

    Used Leaf?

Actually, I have been looking at the prices for new 2012 Leafs, and I just got a quote for 33K, which post rebate brings it down to 23 K. I may go for a new one.

    Used Leaf?

OK, dumb question. Can you just plug it into any wall socket?

    New Leaf Owner in Seattle

I am looking at a used leaf in LA. Have you had any problem buying used? I posted elsewhere, and people were concerned about loss of battery function

    Used Leaf?

I have been looking at the upgrade, but I would still need to install a 240 outlet, so I have electrician bills no matter what. Have mixed feeling about just using the 120 trickle - doesnt seem practical long term. We need the car fairly soon for reasons I wont go into, so waiting more than a...
