Reserved one online about 15 minutes before the reveal. My story is I had one of the first Leaf deliveries (Veh# 302), drove it for 65,000 miles over 4 years and lost 2 bars. Sold it before I lost the third bar. Now leasing a Mercedes B Class. Lease is up Dec. 2017, so I may have to extend the...
I would look into a Mercedes B-Class Electric. I drive 60 miles roundtrip and only use a little over half of the battery each day. That is on highway for the majority of the trip.
So, I have sold my 2011 Leaf and moved on to a B-Class. But I still have both of the original front frames/blades (old rubber) and a brand-new rear blade w/frame. Make me an offer and I will be happy to sell them/mail them to you. I'm in Marin County (home) and SF (work) if you want to pick up...

He converted an MGB GT to run off of a Leaf battery. Here's his tumbler page: http://67mgbgtev.tumblr.com/
WattsLeft meter (plugs into OBD port) for sale. This was one of the original units before Jim created the LeafSpy app. Works perfectly, has bluetooth so you can log data (not sure how to do that, to be honest). Selling my Leaf so no need to keep it around. Asking $75 plus shipping.
More info...
I still get 60 miles out of it with no issues. But my b-class gets 85 easily and has all the luxury features I have been missing. Anyway, the Leaf was great, but the resale value is in the toilet.
I just listed my 2011 Leaf for sale, one of the first ones delivered (2/5/2011). Selling as I leased a Mercedes B-Class. http://www.ebay.com/itm/251828426915
Selling my 2011 Leaf SV, #302 delivered 2-5-2011. Local to Novato, CA since new. Highway miles on commute to San Francisco M-F. New tires at 30,000 miles (Michelin MXV4) and all service done at dealers including brake fluid changes. Extended warranty to 80,000 miles included. Upgraded EVSE (from...
I lost my first bar in March at 51,908 miles (March 28, 2014 to be exact). LeafSpy readings the day after: AHr=54.91, SOH=83%, Hx=68.62% 4002 L2/L1's (I don't have a QC port).
Almost at 60,000 miles today (but don't have my current readings).
If the dealer will cover repainting paint chips on the hood and sides of the car in that package I would buy it. The paint is very thin and my hood has numerous chips after three years of freeway commuting. If not, I wouldn't get it...but it's always up to you in the end.
Ron Curry at North Bay Nissan in Petaluma is also a good guy to talk numbers with. 877-818-6866. I bought my car from him and later he ended up moving into my neighborhood!
It actually expires 12/31/2014, so it's still good! I received an email on 4/24/2013 with the title: Nissan LEAF(R) owners get $1,000 Owner Loyalty Cash*. It was an email I could print with my name on it with the offer. I would do a search through your email and see if you can find it around...
