Climate Control Timer Questions

I've searched and haven't found an answer. Is it possible to change the climate control timer settings?

I set my car to warm up to 66 degrees for departure time. The problem is that I live in a cold environment and the system had been recirculating air, causing the interior windows to be fogged.

The whole goal for me was to have the climate timer defrost the windshield/windows, so I could get in a drive without scraping ice. Having a warm interior doesn't matter to me, I just want to be able to see through the windows. Can I set the system to not use recirculate?

Would help to know year and trim. If it's fogging up, it means the AC is not turned on. The AC will dry the air to prevent moisture from forming.

The problem continues. I can't find a way to adjust the setting to turn off recirculate, let alone turn on AC.
