I have Nissan Leaf Tekna 30kwh 2016.

The subject heading says it all really. Particularly the drivers side is so loud it's embarrassing!

Is there a half decent cure for this? I don't want to start spraying this and that around if it won't work.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Steve

Did you fix this?

Is it coming from friction of the seal on glass?
Or is it from something deeper in the window mechanism?

I'm guessing the rubber seals have become brittle. I would try to get them softened up with silicone lubricant. You could try several doses of of spray silicone lubricant. I've done this to windshield wipers to get several more months use out of them.

A Better choice may be just to rub in some silicone grease, 3-4 daily light coats to allow it to penetrate the rubber seals and soften up. It's the same grease used on faucet rubber O rings.

Agreed; it's probably the wet glass against a sticky section of the channel. Silicone spray can lube and clean and will likely help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cl-7LtQuRfs
