Over the last 6 months a 'growl' that grew/lessened with acceleration/deceleration got progressively louder. Thought maybe it was the gear box because I couldn't make the wheel bearing get louder by loading the wheels with quick turns at 25 MPH. However, my local mechanic confirmed it was indeed the right front wheel bearing assembly (needed to use a mechanic stethoscope) and it's nice to have my silent ride back.
Total Cost (including labor/tax and MOOG parts): $530 USD
Given that my battery is about ready for the degradation warranty, and I assume I'll go to arbitration for buyback, I'll be including this bill in my paperwork to see if I can recoup some/all of the cost. If not, the peace of mind I have (daughter drives ~45 miles/day at 65-70MPH) was well worth the cost.
