So we just brought back our 2019 S Plus from Kansas back to Chicago. The non eco tires do make the journey a bit more painful than with eco tires.

She only DC charged the car for the last 5 months. The SoH only moved .15 during that period including adjustment. Not too bad, DC charging and all.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/NissanLeafOwners/posts/6426909190740349/?comment_id=6427207044043897 has a report of a '19 Leaf Plus with almost 84K miles at SOH of 77.77%. He says the car's showing that he's down 1 capacity bar. I'm guessing he'll be a 2 bar loser soon.

Did you notice the battery temperature in the screenshot? Nearly 100F with only 5 QC? Where does this person live?

Good eye. I didn't notice. Couldn't tell from a quick glance at their profile. Someone can ask. I found an earlier post saying they got it with 11 bars.

I'm guessing Arizona. Right now, per Google weather, it's 97 F in Phoenix. Forecasted high for Mon is 100 F and Tuesday, it'll be 99 F. Tucson weather and forecast is only a few degrees cooler.

Just crossed 30,000 miles. The new module...indicated by the lower voltage at full charge see below...continues to perform well.

I would be cautious applying any kind of validity to a post that has a user with no history.

That person has a bit of post history. Here were some earlier posts by them:

Yeah, who knows? His profile is completely closed so not a lot to go on. Car comes from Phoenix. Remember the guy who made a habit of posting his LEAF with 12 temp bars and seeing how hot he could get the pack and all that stuff. Could it be his car?

Well my take of 2 batteries continues.

As a reminder, I have 2 Leaf Pluses. A 2019 SV Plus with 26K miles built may 2019; and a 2019 S+ with 23K miles built September 2019.

The S+ has done most of our road tripping with many quad and quintuple back to back DC charges and has been only DC charged for last 5 months while my daughter had the car at college. The car just adjusted up to 92.83 from 92.48% SoH

Meanwhile my SV+ has been babied and almost never charged to 100%, and only modestly DC charged. It last adjusted down from 89 to 88% SoH.

While sample size is small, I think the cars do better if abused a little.

Our 2019 S+ just adjusted down from around 93% to 91.89% at 46K miles, after a road trip and several 100% charges on Level 2 and several DC charges on the road. Always interesting!

Better than most by .5 to 1.25% with similar age (mileage not important unless extremely low or extremely high)

So I measured my S+ too soon, it further adjusted up to 93.24% SoH... car was at 93.1% on Dec 26, 2021. I will certainly take flat SoH for 18+ months.

Wish I could apply some of that same magic to my 2019 SV+.

I've notices that BMS updates to SOH, when they occur, usually take two or three days.

I've also had basically flat SOH over the past 16 months. Doesn't look like Nissan will be doing many battery replacements under warranty for this generation of Leafs.
