Tilt-up display not closing all the way

I just bought a 2016 SL that does NOT have the premium package. I can open and close the display to access the CD drawer, but it doesn't quite close all the way. When I power off the car, it does close all the way. I have never seen a Leaf do this. I know the display is slightly different between the premium and non-premium models, but I would be surprised if this is expected behavior. Obviously the motor is capable of closing it because it does so when the car is powered off. Does anybody know what might causing this?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Tilt-up display not closing all the way

Have you tried pressing and holding the OPEN/TILT button several times?

'19 Bolt Premier (bought back by GM)
'13 Leaf SV w/premium (former)
'13 Leaf SV w/QC + LED & premium (lease over)

Please don't PM me with Leaf questions. Just post in the topic that seems most appropriate.

Yes, 6 or 7 times. It still stays a little ajar.

Don't know what to say.

The adjustable tilt on the display is a feature. Manuals accessible via https://www.nissanusa.com/owners/owners ... uides.html. See page 1-4 of https://www.nissanusa.com/content/dam/N ... manual.pdf.

Thanks! I had no idea it was adjustable. I pressed and held the open/tilt button until it beeped and moved to the next preset angle. I just learned something! :D

Hello,
Thanks for this. I also did not know it's adjustable.
