I'd like to upgrade the headunit for a 2013 SL with AroundView/Bose in order to get CarPlay (courtesy of the Xanavi software). I think the 2013 headunit is supposed to be plug compatible with a 2016/17 "30kwh" headunit.
Is this upgrade plug compatible? Are there any other headunits that would work? What features would I be losing? Charge timer? With the end of 2g/3g and with OVMS, I really don't care about CarWings + NissanConnect. TBH, I hate, hate, hated them on my old SV. But I don't want to lose AroundView. It was one of the reasons for getting the SL.
