So he chose to build the cart without securing a horse to pull it... whose fault is that. Now he is crying wolf. Shame.

To be fair I think they can do the math. It's just that some of the variables they were basing their math on a few years ago, have changed due to Covid, war, and supply disruptions in key areas. They could have been more careful but also needed to rapidly expand.

Without the cars to put them in there's no need for huge battery factories. The battery factories had to be built simultaneously with the auto factories but the logistics are nearly impossible with the supply disruptions. Tesla will sort this out but it's likely take 6 months to a year to fix.

Tesla is on a mission to accelerate the transition to a clean energy world, and they take risks to fulfill that mission.

GO Tesla !

Employees have reportedly shared that parking is limited, the Wi-Fi is slow, and there's a lack of desk space.

Tesla reportedly doesn’t have enough desks after Musk threatens to fire remote employees
Even if they could sit down, the Wi-Fi signal was too weak to work

I guess if there's enough firing and layoffs, that problem will be solved. :(

Tesla was fastest... until needed to use the touchscreen for defog.

https://www.autoweek.com/racing/more-racing/a40435946/potential-record-runs-at-pikes-peak-foiled-by-teslas-touchscreen/

A big red defog switch would have won the race.

Messing with a multiple menu touch screen at 125 miles per hour?

Tesla is tracking office attendance and sending emails to employees who haven't 'badged in' often enough

Indicates a dysfunctional corporate culture where nobody is willing to tell executives what they need to know, only what they want to hear.

And here is a story of a laid off employee. They didn't even give him 2 weeks.
Meeting with client's, then "Fired".

As of the end of Q2, we have converted approximately 75% of our Bitcoin purchases into fiat currency. Conversions in Q2 added $936M of cash to our balance sheet.

Revenue up, margins down, still looks fairly good.

The Autoblog piece also has a tweet with a brief video of the fire.

As a result of the fire, a warning for toxic smoke has been issued in the nearby Batesford, Bell Post Hill, Lovely Banks and Moorabool areas, reports The Sydney Morning Herald. Residents were warned to move indoors, close windows, vents and fireplace flues and bring their pets inside.

Here's another incident that happened a bit over a year after the above.

I found "Tesla builds 1st store on tribal land, dodges state car laws" from Sept 2021 about Tesla in NM. I didn't know they had used these to work around stupid NM franchise laws.

That first sales/service center north of Santa Fe didn't turn out quite as expected because the rather high Nambé Pueblo sales tax was going to be added to the cost of the cars delivered there. Tesla started delivering cars directly to buyers, so that they were only subject to the usual sales tax, based on the location of the registration, as is customary in many states.

I would guess that they have worked out a better deal with the Santa Ana Pueblo, having learned from the first one.

I think that it was a rather clever way to get around state restrictions on direct sales/service in the states that have legislatures owned by the car dealerships. They should try it in other states that restrict direct sales of cars.

I am pleased to see that it will mean a Supercharger Station in the Bernalillo area, near US 550, since that's more useful for me than the current Albuquerque locations near I-40, well to the south.

Thanks for sharing the news. I would think quality control of insulation on non standard roofs in that they're all can be different just was a little too complex.
