Greetings from Iowa! I posted yesterday with questions about a used Leaf I was looking at, but I've since decided I'll likely buy new. I'm on the Nissan website building one to see if I can at least get an offer certificate to avoid dealer extras. One of the options is a portable charging cable. Is this in addition to what the car comes with or is this something I basically have to add? Thanks!
The car comes with a cable - 120 volt unless you get an SL or the Tech Package on an SV, in which case you get the dual voltage charging cable.

PLEASE don't PM me with Leaf questions. Just post in the topic that seems most appropriate.
When I was considering leasing a Bolt a few years ago, that build site had the same issue. They really should put "extra" or "second" in the description.

You should wait for the 2023, Nissan is promising a price break. That should also put downward pressure on the price of the 2022s still in dealer inventory.

That's what I thought. Thank you! I was like do I really have to add $1600 for a cable?!
If you want an L2 EVSE to charge at 240 volts, you can get quality UL and/or ETL-listed ones from reputable brands (not random no-name crap on Amazon) for well under $1600.

For 2022, all trims come with the dual voltage cable:
At the time of the auto show, earlier this year, speculation was that the MSRP would drop slightly. Has Nissan stated an official MSRP yet?
Either way, I forgot that the pricing I read was speculative, so ignore my comment that the price would be dropping.

That's good news. Thanks for correcting me.

However, the April 12th news release does state that the pricing for the 2023 model year "should be similar" to the 2022 equivalent trims (S and SV Plus).
Thanks for correcting my mistake cwerdna
