Yes. I am out of power. http://yfrog.com/gz3b7nwj. Went from 17 to --- to turtle to dead in about 5 miles. 2.3 miles from dealer. 4.2 miles from home. Part of me is amused that I may go down in history as the first dumbass to drive the car into submission. But I am slightly shaky and upset as I thought there should have been no problem getting home.
Ah well my experience was less than a mile in turtle.

It actually won't let me turn it off. Nor will it let me respectably pull 1 ft into the space. It went dead in the middle of an intersection. I was lucky to be on an incline and coast 100 ft - very slowly in rushour traffic - into the parking lot.
Part of me is laughing. Part is a little cranky that my 17 miles went to dead so quickly. A mile ago I was on the highway so I am counting myself very fortunate to be where I am instead of there.
I'm sorry to hear that. How fast were you going in the freeway when you only had 17 miles left? Was the heater turned on at the time and what was the temp outside?

Plug it in?? Seriously you are saying that? Sigh. I am not near a plug. I am lucky to be in a lot let alone near any power. Yes roadside assistance. Have been waiting over an hour.
I am in San Diego. I had 0 systems on. No air running at all, and power monitor was up. I was 6 miles from home with 17 left on the estimated miles going about 60, as I had been doing for the previous 20 minutes so there should not have been a lot of variability in mileage estimate. Went 17, 16, ---. I pulled off highway thinking to use back streets, went turtle and then less than .75 mile was dead.
Interestingly, the car won't shut off even following all guidance in turning it off. Dealer says if on flatbed, is ok to have it on. Bizarre.
Interesting. Maybe there is another issue for the dealer to look at.
