Hi folks, I’ll be getting my gen 2 Leaf soon, and just wondering if I could use this socket at work to charge my Leaf with. I know the Leaf is type two, but this socket looks like a type one but I’m not an expert at all in these things. There are EV accessory companies who sell type one to type two charging cables so though it was a quicker charging option. Below are the links to the socket and the connector cable I was talking about.
Socket: https://www.cef.co.uk/catalogue/products/477362-32a-3p-n-e-400v-wall-mounted-socket-ip67
Charging cable: https://evconnectors.com/32-Amp-Car-Charging-Plug-and-Lead-For-The-Nissan-Leaf
If these aren’t compatible, I can just use the bog standard 13amp socket until my company catches up and installs dedicated EV charging ports.
