All the information I’ve seen says the Leaf doesn’t have any kind of battery cooling system, unlike most other EVs. However, I’ve always noticed when charging my 2019 SV + tech package that it makes a “whirring” sound when L2 charging at home. I opened the hood today and I could feel what I assume was coolant being pumped through a coolant hose. Seems to indicate to me the car has some form of active cooling on the battery, no?

It also cools the inverter and possibly, to some extent, the motor, IIRC. They are all stacked on top of each other in the motor compartment, from 2013 on.

OP can take a look at https://web.archive.org/web/20161115202038/http://articles.sae.org/11993/. Motor's the same for '13 to '19 Leafs. PDM and OBC are still on top.
