Hello fellow LEAFers and LEAF-fanciers!
I'm selling my 2018 LEAF S. Price is $18,500. Car is financed so I'd sell the car, release it to the buyer (with bill of sale and DMV release of liability) and then send the title when I get it.
Car has a 151 mile range with full battery. 0-60 in about 8 seconds, but that first 40 is really quick (electric torque goodness!).
Car has 12,011 miles. I'm still driving it occasionally and keep the electrons flowing, but no commuting or long trips. The car looks great (Nismo-style wrap, brand new wheels) and drives fantastically.
This LEAF S has the factory quick-charge option installed (very important feature). This includes the Nissan charging unit, with adaptors for L2 or trickle charging. Sadly, I'm only able to trickle-charge at home because I have a measly 60a at the panel and no easy way to upgrade yet, and the HOA is being very slow to move with any help.
The car was parked and hit by someone in a vehicle (cosmetic damage, no frame damage) and was professionally fixed by Patterson Collision up here in Santa Clarita, under State Farm insurance. Patterson is highly-rated on Yelp and they did a fantastic job. The guys at Patterson mentioned that it looked worse than it was and verified no frame damage.
There's the tiniest of nicks on the right front passenger door, though there's no ding. Can't even see it unless you really look. The car is garaged when I'm not driving it.
Why am I selling? I'm a motorcyclist primarily, so my commute to L.A. is via motorcycle. Stacking the car and bike in the garage is a pain, and I just don't drive enough to justify the payments or insurance costs. I love it though, and have no complaints. I also bought this car in Feb. when it was raining like mad (some of the most rain SoCal has seen in my adult life) and it was pretty cold too. It was also the first time I bought an umbrella as a SoCal person...ever.
This car has never been smoked-in, and I'm the second owner (I don't smoke or let anyone smoke in it). It's super clean. My sense of smell is absurdly good (due to early hearing loss, weirdly) so I'd know if it was smoked in. If I don't smell it, nobody is gonna smell it.
Mods include California-legal window tint, and I've replaced the stock the headlight bulbs with better aftermarket options (much whiter light, better spread).
The wheels are also brand new; Motegi 16x7 using stock Ecopia tires. These have the same lug pattern and offset as stock: +40mm offset, Lug nut pattern is 5 X 114.3 (4.5"). Wheel locks included with key. Stock hubcaps are no longer an eyesore, and these are much lighter than the stock steel wheels. Rolling resistance is similar to stock (which is why I kept them similar in size), but way less unsprung weight and more width per wheel for a little more grip.
Red HOV sticker is good til 2022. I believe people can apply for a purple sticker after that, but definitely do your research here before buying.
Interior features are standard, though there's no heated seats or wheel. It does have the usual A/C and heating, USB, Bluetooth, AM/FM radio with single CD player, can play MP3 files off of a USB thumbdrive, power windows/locks, back-up camera, etc. No Pro Pilot but there's proximity warning alerts if a vehicle is close to you on the road. Both side mirrors fold (manually).
This does have the standard back-up camera and it works very well!
Battery is in great health, no missing bars.
Location: Santa Clarita area, in SoCal.
SoCal Edison will give California residents $1000 once you prove ownership, and this is good for used cars too.
Check out the gallery and PM me if you're interested! I'm also including more pics at the end of this thread.
Thanks!
