Does the on-board nav system make the data available, for example a serial port with NEMA output?

The chances of this are probably somewhere between zero and minus one thousand, but I thought I'd ask...

Ingineer might know if the GPS latitude and longitude are
available anywhere in the car.

If it is in the CAN bus data, I do not yet know where.

Depending upon the type of GPS receiver, the NMEA sentences
could exist somewhere near the AV-Nav head unit, and then
one might be able to tap those signal lines.

Perhaps easier, and also inexpensive:
I have used a $30 (from Amazon) USB-connected GPS receiver "puck"
to add the Logging of GPS data to the CAN bus logging that my
free CAN-Do program does. It seems to work well.

Yes, and there are even cheaper options if you want to get a GPS module on eBay, which I have done in the past, but I was hoping to find the position data ready to use.

I don't remember the menu and keystroke sequences, but it is possible to have the onboard navigation unit display lat/long position information on the screen. I have no idea if it is also available on the CAN bus.

Lat/Lon/Alt data, and satellite data is available on the Nav screen.
front panel Menu button> Info > GPS Position

I have doubts that it is broadcast over any of the vehicle data buses. It might be requested somehow - ask a Nissan/Clarion engineer.
