I just noticed the caption on that photo: "Gasoline Tanker Truck collides with Electric car"

Aside from the jokes writing themselves, this is a pretty good testament to the safety of the Leaf.

They do appear to be European LEAFs judging by the plate holders. They could be press vehicles - press vehicles are known to be crushed once they are done with them.

FWIW the photo was taken with an iPhone 4 and if the EXIF data is to be believed, taken just a couple hours ago.
 
Hey everyone,
here is a link to a bunch of LEAF battery pack photos.
I now have enough Leafs to Part one of them out.

we are asking 125 per module plus shipping.
( there are 48 modules in the pack)

they are 8 lbs each and are 225mm by 304mm by 33.75 mm

they are about 8.3 volts each with a center tap for the BMS.
