Hi there.. I am a new member in New Zealand...40 year experience as an auto electrician. Im heavily involved with Nissan leaf language and battery conversions and an owner and enthusiast of the Leaf.
Is it possible to make up a can dongle to have the vcm or any ecu in the car power up the main positive and negative terminals on the Chademo charge port of the Azeo leaf. ....This will save me having to break into the battery directly to select my 400v power feed...and safer too. Even an external module that connects to the Chademo port is fine. As long as I can get battery voltage on those terminals Ill be happy...preferable to be when car is switched off and locked. Thanks...Scott

Howdy Scott,

It's fairly easy to do on the Mitsubishi miev with just a couple of jumper wires and no CAN needed, but the laef no such luck.
