Hello everyone,
New member but I have been lurking around here for close to two months. This place seems to be the most knowledgeable Nissan Leaf community around. It's nice to be here.
I received my used 2013 Nissan Leaf from Carvana roughly a month ago (the last week of August). When I first started driving it, a 100% charge would net me 95 miles on the "guess o meter". After about 2 or 3 100% charges, the meter dropped to 100% = 85 then 100% = 84 and today I'm at 100% = 82. Now I read that cold weather could have an effect on driving range. September is a transition month with summer heat turning into cooler fall days. I wasn't expecting to lose 13 Miles in a month. At this rate, I'm afraid to see what happens when the weather becomes really cold.
Should I take this car to Nissan and have her checked out or is this normal? I have a feeling that someone will suggest using Leaf Spy to check the car out but I currently don't have a ODB2 adapter that Leaf Spy is friendly with so that's currently out the question. I look forward to reading all of your thoughts. Thank you!
