Help with the app needed

hi everyone. Just picked up my 2018 leaf and absolutely lovely it. However I want to set up the app but as the car is used its already registered to the old owners account. I've tried to contact nissan by phone and email and having very little luck with them get back to me. Does anyone know if I can do something to de register the car and then setup the car in my name???

I believe you need to talk to Nissan EV Customer Service to resolve this.

I've had to call Nissan's EV service line and they will require you send them proof that you now own the car before they will turn over control to you.

I did that for the used '13 SV I bought in 2015. Posted about this at viewtopic.php?p=498697#p498697. You can ignore the 3G TCU part as the 2018+ already has the right TCU.
