The world isn't a safe space, not now, not in the past. If you think you are in a "safe space", you are wrong.

Those that believe in fake news will find out the hard way that the world bites.

Suppose Trump starts a trade war with China. China stops buying Boeing aircraft. Lots of people in Seattle area and elsewhere get pink slips.

Pink slips are not fake news.

We have been Trumped.

What if what if what if. What if China continues to build up their aerospace industry and starts exporting cheap single aisle planes produced by workers making far less than Sanders dictated $15 minimum wage. Same result.
Let's get back to the topic of Trump policies on EVs and related environmental issues. What do we know about Kellyann Conway's views?

A quick check on Wikipedia indicates she's pro life and pro immigration reform. Nothing on net metering or EV subsidies.

Fly on cheap plane, end up in flaming junk pile on ground.

Wow, that's racist.

The reasons Boeing workers haven't already received pink slips are because of barriers to entry in the form of such a complex endeavor and that they build the world's best airplane. In the race to the bottom on costs there's an opening there for the Chinese, and they are looking to exploit it.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comac_C919

Passengers do attach value to not ending up in a flaming junk pile on the ground, but they won't see that on Kayak when the sorted results come back price lowest to highest. Ignore the Chinese' ability to make the product "reliable enough" at your peril.

Back on topic, did you find out anything about Conway?

How so?

There once were American companies that tried to sell planes just by making them cheaper. Once were.

Not Boeing? Not going.

Airbus is smarter than that. Airbus knows that quality sells.

Whatever is happening at the North Pole can't be attributed to Trump policies; let's try to get back on topic.

Did you find out anything about Conway? She's the Trump whisperer.

No, cant be attributed to Trump's policies, but might impact on Trump's policies.

"The entire Arctic north of 80 degrees, roughly the size of the Lower 48 states, has witnessed a sharp temperature spike reaching levels 30-35 degrees (nearly 20 Celsius) above normal. In reviewing historical records back to 1958, one cannot find a more intense anomaly – except following a similar spike just five weeks ago."

Omitting articles and determiners in speech is a slur against Asians, in addition to the stereotype that everything they make is prone to failure. I am offended, and I can now use that "offendedness" as a superpower to invalidate anything you say.
