Regen is a rather controversial poll. Is it possible to forcibly disable or enable it in the car via can-bus signals? I ask carefully for your opinion

in short, yes, it's possible but I don't know if it's commercially available as a plug-in type thing

If I want to disable regen I just shift to N. I can imagine wanting to accelerate or coast without having to feather the pedal to prevent regen. I think Dala implemented this feature on one of his cars and made a video about it but I'm not sure if it is in the thread I linked.

many experts believe that regen does not make sense in electric vehicles.Amount of electricity generated is negligible , and without regen, you can have a greater mileage due to the usual coasting. For example, here (from page 30 there is an opinion on feasibility)

It depends on the type of driving. In stop & go city driving, regen saves wear on the brakes and does improve range. In highway driving it can be useless or worse.

I understand that this cannot be done programmatically in the Nissan Leaf. However, it is possible to cheat the car controller through the arduino unit or similar microcontrollers. This option I propose to study
