Here's a though that just occured to me. I have my modem and router on a UPS (uninterruptible power supply). Also my Blink is connected by ethernet cable. Blink timers are off, Leaf timers are on. So far I have not had a single issue with the Blink or with charging. It might be that those reporting problems have dirty power going to their datacom equipment.

Unlikely, as far as wireless some wireless products work better than others and are less picky. As a side note I see there is now a "last charge" screen at the main screen, too bad it does not provide kwh usage but only useless info like time, cost and over peak. All that info is already wrong, why don't they put kwh there?

I don't know about the different quality of wireless routers, but I have ATT (2WIRExxx). Initially I had a problem with dropped connections to the Blink. Then I moved the router to the other side of a wall so the wireless signal has one less wall to deal with to connect to the Blink. Now everything seems to work with no issues.

Since you aren't using the Blink for any timers AND using wired ethernet, you've just eliminated 100% of the problems other users have described. I did find another timer bug that I've reported to their support department and I'll post more details in the actual firmware thread.
