NEMA L6-30P, I can double check that with my husband tonight or send a pic.
More than likely it's that but I think Phil also had the option for a L6-20p with limited charging current. Note the plugs look very similar, the L6-30p being a bit larger in diameter. Hopefully it will be stamped on the end of the plug near the prongs.

L6-20P was for 2011/2012 Panasonic conversions
L6-30P was for 2013 and newer Panasonic conversions
2013 and newer can supply "full power" to the 6 kW Leafs (as opposed to the original 3 kW version).

Actually looking at Phil's website now, even the 11/12 conversions get the L6-30p and go up to 20a(5kw), of course as you said a 11/12 Leaf will only draw ~15a or 3kw at 240v.
Also I could have sworn when I had mine upgraded in '13 I had the choice of "regular power"(L6-20p) and "high power" (L6-30p) but maybe I'm mistaken as now I only see the 13-14 as being offered in the "high power" (L6-30) version.....

A 2012 can draw 3,8kw. 3.3kw charge plus overhead.

That was true...back then. Now things are divided along year lines like I listed. I also rounded things off to make it simple :p
