I have another LEAF to part out. This is a 2019 LEAF SV.

Battery, motor, inverter, PDM already spoken for.

Wheels and tires spoken for.

The rest of the parts are up for grabs.

Custom EV conversion, nice!
I've always wanted to take a Chevy S10 or Colorado, about 1999-2008 or so, 2wd pickup, and put a Leaf battery & motor in it.

The big car makers have completeyl failed to build a small EV pickup to do things like hit Home Depot, or run around a ranch with fencing or feed in the bed, also useful for work commutes under 50 miles round trip, you know. Good 2nd vehicle.

CraigsList it in Boulder. Tons of Leafs up there, maybe needing parts.

Chevy made an electric S10 in 1997-1998 and Ford an electric Ranger in 1997-2002. I've only ever seen the latter available these days.

But I agree; even a modern ICE compact pickup option would be great to have. Something like the Chevy Montana ute made in Brazil.

I had forgotten about those. The later Ranger EVs had Ni-MH battery packs which have almost the power density as modern Li-ion packs. (GM's EV1 had Ni-MH packs in the last years too.)
As for GM's S10 EVs of the EV1 era (same powertrain), that has inspired my new all-original documentary I'll entitle "Who Killed the Electric S-10?"

Good around-town workhorses, and great with a Leaf system installed, somehow. It'd be a little harder due to FWD vs. RWD setups though. Maybe just get rid of the front suspension of the PU entirely & replace with the Leaf's subframe etc. Loads in the back are mostly supported by the rear bearings anyway (delete the differential back there & let it ride on the bearings alone).

Ford, GM, are you listening?

I agreed to buy a part ... and then did not hear from OP for over two weeks.

No thanks.

Yes wheels are available.

Sorry SageBrush for the inconvenience I did tell you I was traveling for work. My travel went longer than expected. Also my employee sold a fender and gave the customer that part you wanted for free so I'm also a little sore about it but in the big scheme of things it's no big deal.

ACTUALLY ... It went this way:

On Apr 17 (Sat) you wrote (my bold)
Yes I can get that piece for you! Please send instructions. I can do $10 shipped to your house. Please send me your address and email. I'm traveling but will get the piece and ship out for you Monday.

I PM'd per your request on Apr 18
No further communication from you until Apr 4 when you wrote
Sorry for the late reply. I have the piece you want for the passenger side only, the driver's side is missing.

This was a small item, and I took care of it by other means after I didn't hear from you. No big foul, but from my POV you are not reliable.

And now everyone knows not to write any Private messages to you...

And now everyone knows that you publicaly lie about what was written in the PM.

In one day you have gone from unreliable to deceitful.
How much deeper do you want to dig the hole you are in ?

The car isn't long for this world. Will be stripping a few high value items then scrapping. Send PM so I get email notification don't always read the board.

Heated steering wheel?
You likely need to send a PM to get his attention. I can say that I got the wheels & tires from this car in June. By that time, he had salvaged a few big parts for a project and the entire body was gone from his shop.

This car probably has a heated steering wheel but you'd have to ask.

I'm tempted by the battery since it is probably actually 30kWh instead of the listed 24kWh since it appears to be a 2016 SV. But I don't know what I'd do with it.

Parting out 2013 Nissan Leaf SV in White. Has front end damage but rest of body and interior is in great shape. Vehicle is located in Colorado but I am willing to ship some smaller parts.

Motor, battery, inverter, dc-dc, and chargers are already gone.

SV wheels in great condition.

Thanks for looking!

Wheels look intact but I don't that will give you much , better repair it first I think
