I am most interested in the drivetrain performance modifications they are mentioning. Since they will clearly be voiding the warranty on their LEAFs, anything goes.

NIce, in a silly sort of way, but shouldn't they be using a black LEAF?

I added a link to the converter on my post,
so that members can contact them and get more details:

If Liberty is smart, they will make this something that would be applicable to our non-stretched LEAFs too!

......Imperial has a solution to the decreased range. With the help of Liberty Electric Cars, an EV conversion firm in the UK, Imperial will incorporate a second lithium ion battery into the LEAF limousine. “It will end up with about the same battery range,” Catterson says. “It’s going to make a great limo.”

I asked Liberty about the possibility of this additional battery pack being engineered so it would maybe work as a range extender pack for our standard LEAFs:

Hi Mike, our initial objective is to produce a second battery pack for the Limo conversion. In the event that Market demand was sufficient, and technically, installation was possible for standard Nissan Leaf vehicles we would certainly aim to offer the additional pack as an aftermarket option.
