Thought about doing this for a while. All done with Plasti-dip. The stencil not quite perfect and I'm going to blame that on 10-year-old "Frog Tape". :lol:
I did this without removing the cover. It's sealed with adhesive and I didn't care to be poking around High Voltage. There's enough room to get fair coverage of the parts you can actually see.
If you were wondering about the durability of Plasti-dip I did the charge-port in 2014. It holds up pretty well. In fact it's in better shape than the blue coating Nissan put on the emblem, which is beginning to flake off. And you can always peel plastic-dip off and start over if it's looking poorly or you just get tired of the color.
