Hi!

I was just wondering if anyone have tried putting 19" wheels with low profile tires on their leaf? I am considering trying it out, but i'm unsure if the wheelbase is big enough and also if it will affect the driving distance...

I think my white leaf would look awesome with some white or maybe black 19" rims :)

https://flic.kr/p/Y1tEjV This is my car i run 8,5x20" Interaction rw10 rims whit 225-30-20 tires class c rolling recistance. But i havent had the car to do the aligment yet. Ive have lowerd the car alot. Yes you will take a hit on the range if i compare whit the 17"Tekna aloys whit class b tires. My work commute is 60km whit the 17" wheels Start whit 100% battery i finish whit 54 to 57%! Whit the 20" Start whit 100%battery finish whit 46 to 52% hope i can get litle bit range back after i have done the alignment but if not i can live whit it. The car handels alot better and looks alot better. And the range is more than enuf on my daily commute and we have dc fast chargers every were in norway:) cheers

Nice one buddy - I have the same White Leaf running 20's! Mine are 35 profiles though - just wondering what brand tires do you find the best? I'm about due to replace them

Michelins are great but you need to spend more cash. I am running bf goodrich tires and love them. The grip is good in both dry and wet. There's just a slight noise at lower speeds.

Wheels that large must kill the range, I can't imagine doing this on a 24 kWh LEAF. I'm guessing you guys must have newer LEAFs with a 40/62 kWh pack.
