Nissan EV app not connecting since iOS 15 upgrade?

When I open the Nissan EV leaf app, ever since upgrading to iOS15, I see an error as soon as the app loads:

An invalid operation was detected against this application.
The application cannot be used after an invalid operation is performed.

No idea, but iOS 15.0.1 is out, if you haven't already upgraded to it.

This is why I generally wait quite awhile after a major iOS update to update my personal iPhone. My personal iPhone 8 is still on 14.8.

I will probably start with my least used device, an iPad mini 5 when 15.1 comes out before putting that on my iPad Pro 10.5" then my iPhone 8. 15.0.1 seems somewhat problematic right now...
