Beyond https://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=3207&p=597614#p597614 that is.

I have a JuiceBox 40 charger, and a spreadsheet. After charging I note the
odometer reading and, if I have not charged elsewhere, I have a figure in cost per kWH.

  • Is there a way to automate this?
  • An app?
  • A leafspy feature?
  • A power company feature?
  • A central database?

I'd upload my data to https://www.fueleconomy.gov/mpg/ except.... there's no place for kWH just Gallons. And Gallons don't fit into my EV.
I've tried to suggest that Enelex add this feature to the app (the ability to enter an odometer reading, and last charge location), but whoever answers their email does not seem to understand.

Maybe a public campaign to get the smart charger companies to collect and share odometer reading/charging session pairs?

Note I pay about 12 cents per mile to drive the EV. What does it cost you?

Thank you for contacting us. We are planning an update to My MPG that will allow you to enter data for EVs in several different units including kWh. This is long overdue but we anticipate that we will have an update for My MPG in the next few months. We appreciate your interest in My MPG and we thank you for your feedback.
