Just bought a 2018 Leaf SV, with 13K miles, from a Nissan Dealer.

I want to buy the 84 month genuine Nissan Extended Warranty.

How much is a good price ?

Can I buy it from any Nissan Dealer in the USA ? Online ? If so, where would it be cheapest ?

My last car, a 1996 Saturn, I drove for 25 years.

It still runs well, but has a Transmission Leak which could be repaired for $800. But no. The body looks great, due to the plastic panels, but the frame has rusted badly.

So, to answer your question, I plan to keep the used 2018 Leaf SV for as long as I can.

I've received a quote of $1987 from a local Nissan Dealer for the 84 month warranty, but if I can purchase one for less, that would be great.

After reading a different thread, I have concluded a PrePaid Service Plan is not a wise buy.

Correct on the service plan - no oil to change. As for the warranty, make sure that it covers the climate control and infotainment systems for the full 84 months. If it doesn't even mention EV systems, find a plan that covers them.
