Warning re insurance payout for totalled S models

Last month, my 2017 Leaf S got totalled. In examining the proposed payoff, I didn't see anything to reflect that I had paid the extra $1700 for the charging package (which I think most S owners did). I dropped by the service department of my local dealer, and they kindly printed me another copy of my window sticker based on the VIN. I sent that to the insurance company with an explanation, and my payout amount jumped by about $1200.

In the future I will always safe a photo of my window sticker.

I always retain the sticker. I think it's good to have complete documentation package (along with owners manuals, receipts, etc...) with the car when you come to sell it.

What did you think about the pay out offer? Another used 2017 is going to run +/- $15K.
