Is this the right OBDII device to use with LeafSpy?

I purchased LeafSpy for Android, and have purchased an LELink OBDII diagnostic interface device to plug in to my 2019 Leaf (https://www.amazon.com/LELink-Bluetooth-Energy-OBD-II-Diagnostic/dp/B00QJRYMFC).

Can anyone confirm that this particular device will work? Just wanted to be sure I have the right one.

If you say you have an android phone, the one you say you bought is for the Apple Iphone....

You should make sure that the plug will work on android devices....

A: This works with Android as long as the device is new enough that it has Bluetooth low energy (BLE) I've used it with an S8, one plus 6 and my note 9.

Thanks. The Amazon product details are confusing--at first it says it's just for iPhone, but elsewhere as Leftie pointed out it says it will work with a newer Android.

I presume it's totally safe to plug this thing into the leaf and run a test? The wrong OBDII won't damage the Leaf, right?

I'd suggest getting the one in my signature. It isn't expensive and it is safe.
