When looking under the driver-side dash on my 2020 SL Plus, I noticed a coiled, but not connected, pair of white and green wires. Here's a link to a photo of it: https://photos.app.goo.gl/jCEJEGxMbYkpzzu39. Does anyone know what the wires are for (or where I should look for more info)? Thank you for your help.

Peter

Hi Peter,

I don't think this is a problem. Have you noticed any issues with your leaf. When I look under my 2018, I do not have any loose wire ends. The only green and white wire combo I see go to one of the two brake pedal sensors. See photo. I wonder if the 2020, Nissan was able to consolidate the function into one sensor. Did you find anything else out?

Does your cruise control work? One of the brake pedal switches is for sensing when the brake pedal has been depressed. If that green/white wire pair was missed during assembly, and it's supposed to be wired to that brake pedal sensor, then cruise control won't work.
