On 12/29/2022 we were at a very low speed turning into a parking area when the 2015 Leaf shot forward at a frightening speed. Applied strong pressure to brake to no avail. Crashed into another parked vehicle at full impact. Both airbags deployed for myself and passenger. My car appears to be a complete loss. We had gone through some very cold weather past couple of weeks in mountain area of NC.
Very traumatic and if this had occurred on a highway or busy street, there could have been serious injuries. Even if the vehicle were able to be repaired, I'd be afraid to drive it. Fortunate there was a witness in car that saw me apply the brake, not the accelerator. Maggie B
